Who am I?
My name is Misi and I have been living in the World of Weddings for more than 10 years now and I can say I have never enjoyed anything this much. I LOVE weddings. As an international wedding professional – based in Budapest, Hungary – I have helped create some magic at more than 150 couple’s Big Day (or Miniwedding Day) up to this point.
I have learned on location and through real experience what sometimes tiny details can make a wedding ceremony truly perfect. I am a Hungarian Wedding Award winning wedding host and master of ceremonies as well, but there are weddings, especially with a smaller number of guests or of shorter overall duration that will only require the presence of a professional English (and Hungarian) speaking Wedding Celebrant.
Wedding Celebrant: What I Do
A wedding celebrant is someone who leads a wedding ceremony but is not legally invested to marry a couple.
Celebrants are for couples who feel they want something more personal, unique or meaningful than a religious or a plain official civil wedding or partnership – a SYMBOLIC ceremony that is legally bound to locations, times and even wording and that clearly has its limitations.
Why You Should Book a Wedding Celebrant
Choosing a celebrant to conduct your wedding ceremony instead of a church minister or an official registrar means you will be able to have the wedding you want, without any limitations.
How we can create magic
If I am your celebrant – the wedding can be held on the beach, a cliff top, in a field or woodland as there are absolutely none of the usual restrictions surrounding location just as there are no restraints with vows, music, readings, or even timings as there are in both church and civil weddings.
Rather than being told you will need to repeat traditional generic vows, you as a couple and me as the celebrant can create a completely personal ceremony together. You could involve a symbolic element, such as the sand ceremony, tying the knot (a real knot, yes), mixing your wedding cocktail or simply lighting a candle together, you can include your children or even your pets in the actual ceremony – if that’s what you both want.
If you choose me to be your celebrant – I will ask you to complete a questionnaire to consider exactly how you would like your wedding ceremony to be. Then I will write up a bespoke ceremony script only for you as a couple – and send it to you for further amendments and personalisation. You can change the ordering, phrasing and some of the other elements, too, this way you can be 100% sure you will have a truly one-of-a-kind ceremony.
